Car-Free MSP Celebration Group Ride!
Come along with Move Minnesota, Joyful Riders Club, and Slow Roll Twin Cities for a family fun bike ride celebrating World Car-Free Day on Sunday, September 22!
Meet at Jimmy Lee Recreation Center in Saint Paul at 11:00 AM for a group bike to the Wabun Picnic area at Minnehaha Falls. The group will leave promptly at 11:30 AM and arrive at Wabun Picnic Area at 12:30 PM. At the park we will celebrate World Car-Free Day with food, games, and fun! Slow Roll Twin Cities will provide a bike valet at the park. There will be a return bike ride to Jimmy Lee leaving at 2:30 PM from the park for those who would like to ride back in a group. The one-way route is 6.5 miles, and we plan to take an hour to travel the route.
RAIN PLAN: We will be watching the weather this weekend! Light rain won’t stop us. We will email people who have registered by 9:00 AM Sunday morning, if and only if, the ride is cancelled due to severe weather. If you have registered for the ride, and don’t hear from us at that time, you can expect the ride is on as planned! Make sure to RSVP below so we can keep you updated.
All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Signed waivers are required to participate.
Please RSVP below to help us plan for a great ride!
