2022 Transportation Summit – What is Mobility Justice?
In order for our communities to thrive, people need to be able to move freely and safely no matter their identities.
As we emerge from a global pandemic, racial reckoning, and historic labor shortages, more workers are holding their employers accountable to recognizing and fostering more equitable and just workplaces that also ensure the freedom of movement.
We’re inviting business and civic leaders to come together and explore how a mobility justice framework can equip and prepare employers to build, attract, and retain a future-ready & resilient workforce. Join us at the 2022 Transportation Summit on November 30 to hear from keynote speaker, Yolanda Davis-Overstreet, a nationally-recognized community leader and champion for mobility justice. Other speakers include Hennepin County Commissioner, Irene Fernando, and Minneapolis College President, Sharon Pierce.
This is a free event! Join us at The Hennepin, in the heart of the Hennepin Theatre District in Downtown Minneapolis. Breakfast will be provided by Breaking Bread Catering. Register early: seats are limited.
The 2022 Transportation Summit is brought to you by Move Minnesota, the Cultural Wellness Center, Move Minneapolis, and Our Streets Minneapolis.
